The problem
The story site, the merch store and in-person convention sales were all separate. Stock never matched, and the artists could not update content themselves.
What was built
- A storytelling brand site with a web comic reader
- A store with Stripe payments and automatic tax
- Order handling where orders, stock and refunds move together
- An admin CMS the artists edit themselves (18 screens)
- Booth mode for conventions: pause online sales and set ship-after dates
- Events map and calendar, newsletter and order emails
Why it matters
Online and in-person sales share one inventory, and comics, products and events can be updated without a developer.
